Meet Nina
I’ve spent years working closely with women and their hair, specialising in extensions and creating results that feel natural, wearable and personal.
Over time, I realised that beautiful extension work isn’t simply about mastering a fitting technique. It’s about learning to really look at the person in front of you - their natural hair, colour, texture, lifestyle and how they want to feel.
That understanding became The Summerlands Method.
Experience, refined into education
The Summerlands Method has grown from years of hands-on experience working with real clients, real hair and the individual challenges that come with both.
Alongside my practical experience, I hold the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, bringing together professional teaching practice with the techniques and principles I’ve developed throughout my career.
My aim is to pass that knowledge on in a way that feels personal, thoughtful and genuinely useful - giving each student the confidence to develop their own eye s well as their practical skills.
Why Summerlands
Summerlands began as my own quiet place to work- surrounded by the Kent countryside, away from the noise and pace of a traditional salon.
It has shaped the way I work and, eventually the way I wanted to teach: smaller groups more time, thoughtful surroundings and an approach that values quality over quantity.
I wanted training to feel less like being processed through a course and more like being welcomed into a beautiful space where you can slow down, learn properly and leave feeling inspired.
Learning to see hair differently
Technique matters, but so does the eye behind it.
I want students to leave Summerlands understanding not only how to fit extensions, but how to make considered decisions - when to use a technique, where to place it, how to blend it and when less is actually more.
Because beautiful extension work should never be about following a formula. It should be about creating hair that feels completely individual.
